Access the BIOS or UEFI firmware settings screen and look around for a “Serial Number” somewhere on a system information screen. On Windows 7, 8, or 10, hit Windows+R, type “msinfo32” into the Run box, and then hit Enter. The BIOS version number is displayed on the System Summary pane. Look at the “BIOS Version/Date” field.Right-click on the Start button and click on Command Prompt (Admin).On the Command Prompt screen, type wmic bios get serialnumber and press the enter key on the keyboard of your computer.Once the command is executed, it will list Serial Number of your computer below “SerialNumber” entry on the Command Prompt screen (see above image). You can use Ctrl + F keys to quickly search for Detected Boot Environment. At the end of Detected Boot Environment, BIOS or UEFI will appear. If your PC supports UEFI, you’ll see Detected Boot Environment: UEFI.
